Welcome to Project Noted!

Our Mission

Project Noted, founded by Jennifer Iospa in 2017, is all about supporting one another through anonymous letter writing. These letters act as positive outlets for participants. Our goal is to give voice to everyone, whether you think you’re the big fish in a small pond or the other way around! We strive to make sure that everyone is given an opportunity to express themselves. We believe that it is of utmost importance to make sure that everyone feels that they have the right to feel and the right to be acknowledged. We focus on ensuring that the ‘Project Noted Process’ is a simple enjoyable experience for all: students, teachers, staff, and anyone else who is interested in partaking.

We hope to bring ourselves to every school and to allow students to allot time for their mental health and to have a place to talk about whatever they’d please.

Our letter writing process is simple in that it only requires a pen, paper, and a dash of vulnerability. We prompt you to share any and everything you’d feel comfortable talking about. Past letter have included advice to those who may be overcoming hardship, opening up about insecurities, talking about struggles with anxiety and depression, family dynamic, and a variety of other topics. We encourage you to be as honest as you wish but please note that notes with distressing themes are subject to being reported to school guidance counselors, the suicide hotline, and NAMI, in order to ensure that we can help anyone who is in need.
